Rapid Prototypes

The rapid prototypes for the Alessi models have come through thanks to Robert.  It really is a great feeling to have something in your hand at the end of the process rather than just a funky image on the screen.  It also brings a whole new level of evaluation to the project.  You can get a real sense of whether the scale works or if the thicknesses need any tweaking.  The prototypes were made here.  They are located just down the road in St Peters.  I’ll hopefully get another done before the exhibition with a few minor changes.  If possible, I’d also like to see about getting it chromed.  It’s a very slick finish but also a very costly one.
