Honda Solar Concept Car

Here’s the new concept car from Honda.  It’s powered through the solar panel on the roof.  There’s something very Marc Newson about the design of this.  Personally, I kind of like it.  It should fit right in with the new wave of minis and beetles.

  1. *shudders* cars are meant to be evolving not the opposite, this car is a 1970 mini bred with a fiat bambino, and some new age lights. Plus whoever designed those wheels should be shot.

    haha enjoy my rant

  2. Yeah, I agree that the wheels are fugly. They could have done something a lot funkier with the rims. But the overall shape is kind of quirky. Evolution in design can still take its cues from the past, especially when it’s referencing what was once an icon. I mean it’s not exactly on the same playing field as BMW’s new hybrid concept, but it’s certainly got its charms.
